What are the advantages of royalty free music?
First of all, our music is really royalty free. This means you won’t have to fill out any cue-sheets like in other libraries that call themselves “royalty free”. Especially for German customers this solves many problems at once:
Usually the German PRO, the GEMA represents the copyrights of almost all composers, lyricists and music publishers. When using music that is represented by the GEMA (for example playing in public, background music on websites or in commercials) you have to pay royalties to the GEMA that in turn will be handed over (partially) to the composer or author. How much you have to pay depends on the kind of usage.If the composer or author is not a member of the GEMA (or any other collecting society) and the piece of music is not registered with the GEMA, it can be called royalty free music.
